Perbandingan WordPress dengan Blogspot

Sebelum belajar blogging, sebaiknya kita mengetahui terlebih dahulu fasilitas dan alat untuk itu. Dan, yang paling populer diantara berbagai penyedia tempat gratis untuk tulisan kita adalah blogspot dari google dan wordpress.
Sebelum anda memutuskan untuk memilih salah satu layanan penyedia hosting gratis dari kedua  jenis terpopuler tersebut di atas, perlu kita ketahui apa yang boleh dan tidak boleh ketika anda menggunakan fasilitas ini, anda harus berhati-hati membaca ketentuan layanan (TOS: Term of Service) masing-masing layanan. Untuk blogspot silahkan baca di Persyaratan Layanan Blogger, dan untuk WordPress silahkan baca di Ketentuan Layanan WordPress.
Yang dimaksud dengan hosting gratis disini adalah anda mendaftarkan diri sebagai pengguna, yang selanjutnya disebut dengan blogger, jasa layanan subdomain pada situs layanan blog tersebut, sebab berikutnya setelah anda terdaftar anda akan diberi ruang bagi tulisan anda (webspace) seperti :
namabloganda.blogspot.com untuk Google bloggernamabloganda.wordpress.com untuk WordPress bloggersecara otomatis anda memiliki subdomain di situs mereka.

Can't Change The Favicon

 I wonder why I can't change the Favicon of this blogspot of mine, yes this is the only one among hundreds of my blogspot blog I run. I can't change the favicon from the day one until now. I already try a lot of approaches to change this small 16x16 thing, I even create my own template from scratch but it just doesn't work for this Lebay, the one and only specific blog of mine but NOT the others blogspots of mine, I do change a Six mount aged, 1 year, the 2, 3 month aged blogspot, and even the newest I created to this specific purpose for the sake of changing, customazing the Favoicon, and they were ok, and work out of the box for this one tiny little icon that most visitor won't even notice, Ouuu Crap...!!! I just wasting my time just for this solo goal to change the Favicon.

Where is the Favicon? it placed at the same section as this one. in the top left above all the boxes. Right in the top of Nav Bar to be exact. You may try others approach out there, But this one is the easiest.

PS: Make Sure your image has exact squared in size:25x25, 50x50, don't have to be exatcly 16x16. Since it will be automatically resize to 16x16 in pixel, 100KB maximum

Hide the date

in previous post about banishing the date off the blogspot, this one will cover the same purpose, but it is a lot easier than other methods. I even think this is the easiest among all other methods. no template script editting, no more code to be edit, just simple clik setting.

Here is how:
Go to Design---> Page Element
Now within the page element (with Edit Layout now as the tittle:-\) you find numerous squares, and there is one square called Blog Post, and now click the edit within the very same box it placed in lower rigt of the Blog Post Box. A pop up windows will shows off and now uncheck the date under Post Page Option and click Save. Make sure it is the right pop up screen, and you didn't do any missclick. the title of the pop up screen is Configure Blog Post.
